Terri joined the practice in 1990. Her pets include a Golden Retriever, Molly and several cats. Outside of work Terri spends a lot of time at dog shows and helping out clients at the showss.
Sarah Fiqueroa,Veterinary Assistant
Sarah joined the practice in 2017.She is excited to be able to do what "she loves ever day". She was raised around all types of animals and loves them all as well. Sarah has followed her passion and is attending Penn Foster and is earning a Vet Tech Degree. Sarah completed her Fear Free certification in 2017.
Karen Green LVT, Licensed Veterinary Technician Karen joined the practice in 2006, though has been a veterinary technician for over 20 years. Her favorite aspects of veterinary medicine include surgery and radiology. She is married and loves to spend all her free time with their son. She has two dogs and a cat.
Michelle Johnson, Client Service Representative
Michelle joined the practice in 1994 as a bather, she has since moved on to CSR and she enjoys the interaction with clients. 2013. She has a pit bull and multiple cats as well as ferrets, guinea pigs, rats and a cockatoo. Plus to many reptiles to mention. Michelle's favorite hobby is reptile shows.
Cathye Knouse, Groomer
Cathye joined the practice in 2015. She was raised on a farm in Delaware and gradutated from Caesar Rodney. She has been grooming for many years. Cathye has an animal behavior modification course and an animal behavior course which is a real assest to Governors Avenue Animal Hospital. Her rescued pets include: Ginger and two cats.
Tom Marvel, Veterinary Assistant Tom joined the practice in 1998. His pets include a Pomeranian and several finches and canaries. Tom attended the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY from 1977-1980 and the Naval War College from 1980-1982. He served in the US Navy from 1980-1988. His areas of interest include surgery and dental cleaning. His hobbies include antique clocks, scuba diving, and 2z scale model trains.
Shannon Ricketts,Veterinary Assistant
Shannon joined the practice in 2015. Shannon has just recently joined the veterinary field but has always had a passion for animals, large and small. She has two turles and a few cats.
Jessica Ries, Client Service Representative
Fallon joined the practice in 2018. She came to us with prior veterinary medicine experience. She has a chocolate lab - Hershey and a parakeet - Skittles. She enjoys: fishing, going to parks and spending time with friends.
Frank Rodriguez, Veterinary Assistant
Frank joined the practice in 2018. He has been a Veterinary Assistant 10 years total in New York and Delaware. He has always had a passion for animals and has two dogs and a persian cat. Growing up with large animals as a child, and helping to care for them has made him the animal lover he is today!
Serita Scott, Groomer Assistant
Serita joined the practice in 2015. She has a daughter and two dogs and cat, she enjoys spending time with all three of them. In 2007, she is became certified in Massage Therapy.
Kayla Smith, Groomer Assistant
Kayla joined the practive in 2016. She graduated from Delaware Technical Community College with an associates in Criminal Justice. She has four cats and two dogs. In her free time, she enjoys reading and horseback riding and her work on Deer Antler Equestrian Center.
Lisa Virdin, Client Service Representative
Lisa joined the practice in 2012. She has worked in the veterinary field for twenty eight years. She enjoys spending time with her two dogs. She also enjoys fishing, four wheeling and photography.
Grace Uhey, Veterinary Assistant
Grace joined the practice in 2017, however she has been working with animals in the veterinary field since early 2011. She has worked with small and large animlas however finds her passion in working with small animals. Her favorite aspects of veterinary medicine comes from expanding her knowledge and focusing on surgery and radiology. In her spare time, she enjoys volunterring with rescue groups, reading and spending time with her four dogs and three cats and one ball python!
Sharon Wyatt, Groomer Sharon joined the practice in 1987. Her pets include a lab named Bella, and two cats; Tibbie & Rachel. She is married to Bob, has a daughter named Lyndsey, stepdaughters Sharon and Amy, four grandsons. She enjoys watching and playing tennis, is a Phillies fan (watches on tv and at the ballpark). She likes to help Bob with the racehorses on the weekends and at the races. She also loves to travel.
